Main Ingredients:

Idly – 6

Chopped Onion – 1 Medium size

Green Chilli – 2 Medium size

Turmeric

Chilli
powder – ½ tsp

Curry
leaves
·
Chopped
Coriander leaves
Tempering ingredients:
·
Oil
·
Mustard
seed – 1 tsp.
·
Split
Urad dal – 1 tsp.
·
Hing/Asafoetida
– a pinch
Method:
Crumble the idlies using your fingers and set aside.
Heat oil in a pan, add oil and items for tempering. Let them crackle.
Add Onions, Green chillies and curry leaves. Cook for 2 mins.
Add salt, turmeric powder, chilli powder and sauté well.
Now add crumbled idly and mix for couple of minutes.
Finally add some coriander leaves and serve hot.
Extra...
If you find idlies dry to crumble then take a bowl of water, make
a quick dip and squeeze out the excess water and start crumbling.
You can do this with the leftover idly as an evening Tiffin for
your children after school.
